We are the Canfields.

We are Robert, Kelli, Maria, Charlotte, and Ann Canfield, missionaries for the continent of Africa. I want to explain how the Lord has prepared and guided us to this unique ministry. We ask you and your church to consider supporting us as we expand Christ's kingdom further. We would love an opportunity to present our ministry. God bless, and thank you for your consideration. 

Our Family 

Kelli and I met in January 2007, and we married ten months later. I couldn't have asked for a better friend and spouse. God has blessed our marriage with three wonderful daughters, Maria, Charlotte, and Ann. God allowed Kelli, Charlotte, and Ann to have Pompe disease. This disease comes with its struggles, but God has not changed our hearts; therefore, we keep on going to see the job through which the Lord gave us. As a family, we desire to reach the world with the Gospel in our generation. 

Church Ministry Experience 

The Lord has blessed my wife and me with the opportunity to have been involved with serving on staff as an Assistant Pastor for more than a decade. God has been good to Kelli and me as we have seen God work through us to see others saved, discipled, counseled with families, and even seen others called to full-time service for the Lord out of my ministry. On January 1, 2020, I resigned as Assistant Pastor to see God use us to get the Gospel to Africa. 

Personal Assistant to Austin Gardner

One of my most cherished roles was that of the personal assistant to Austin Gardner. I became the personal assistant to Pastor Gardner in 2010. It was a fantastic experience where I could learn ministry from a man whose heart is to see the world evangelized in this generation. I have learned so much from working so closely with Pastor Gardner. It has been a great honor for me to fulfill this role.

Taking the Light Ministries

Taking the Light is a ministry out of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Dawsonville, GA. Our Pastor Charles Blackstock is a wonderful God-fearing man. He has helped my family and me as we seek to fulfill God's call on our lives. My Pastor has the heart and desire to see the world reached in our generation. This is evident in the wonderful church the Lord allowed him to start in 1999. Lighthouse Baptist Church truly has the heart to see the Light of the Gospel taken to the entire world. We are blessed to be a part of such a wonderful church family.
